From the MeniCare range of solutions we mention the two multi-functional solutions MeniCare Pure and MeniCare Plus, ideal for the care of hard contact lenses.
1. MeniCare Pure is Menicon's newest multi-purpose solution to promote the healthiest possible care of gas permeable contact lenses (RGP contacts).
The contact lens solution is the first solution created from natural ingredients, with disinfecting agents, vitamin C glucoside and hyaluronic acid. In addition, double filtration has been performed during manufacture to remove any unwanted particles, but also to ensure the purity of the solution.
The solution comes in a one-touch capped bottle for better sterility and integrity and also for easier handling.
To ensure better comfort and to extend the life of hard contacts, it is recommended to use Menicon's Progent for protein removal in combination with MeniCare Pure solution.
2. MeniCare Plus is a multi-purpose solution for hard lenses that meets the high expectations of all gas permeable lens wearers. Maximum comfort can be achieved with MeniCare Plus by improving wetness and reducing lens deposits.
MeniCare Plus solution for hard contacts can also be used for rinsing prior to lens insertion. The lens will feel clean and smooth with every wear. Thanks to the moisturizing substances in the lens, the wettability is increased, which facilitates even distribution of the tear film on the lens surface.
To ensure excellent comfort and protection throughout the lifetime of hard lenses, it is recommended to remove proteins with Menicon Progent on a regular basis, e.g. weekly, in combination with MeniCare Plus solution.
